The Classic Peanut Butter Banana Protein Smoothie
Prep time: 2 minutes | Servings: 1
Ingredients
- 1 scoop (approx. 30g) vanilla or chocolate whey protein powder
- 1 medium banana (frozen is best for a creamy texture!)
- 1 tbsp peanut butter (or almond butter)
- 1 cup (240ml) milk of your choice (dairy, almond, or oat work great)
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- Optional: A dash of cinnamon or a handful of spinach (you won't even taste the greens!)
Instructions
- Add the liquids first: Pour your milk into the blender. Adding liquid first prevents the protein powder from getting stuck to the bottom of the blender jug.
- Add the rest: Drop in the whey protein powder, frozen banana, peanut butter, and ice.
- Blend: Blend on high for 30 to 45 seconds until completely smooth and creamy.
- Serve: Pour into a tall glass and enjoy immediately.
